Hi my name is Abbie and I play solo trombone. I've been playing since I was 11 and St Breward band is the latest in a long line of ensembles that I have been a part of. These encompass a range of genres from playing in Swansea University Big Band and Orchestra to Cornwall Youth Wind Orchestra to Wadebridge Brass Band.
Through music I have had many wonderful experiences including playing in the Royal Albert Hall as part of the school proms, playing in Birmingham Symphony Hall and playing with the RAF Central Band at RAF Northolt. I hope to be part of St Breward for many years to come and I can’t wait to see where it will take me!

I play bass trombone, I started playing for Roke and Benson Band in South Oxfordshire when my son was playing and needed transport. I was given a bass trombone because I played the cello so could read bass clef and I loved it from the start.
I joined St Breward Band at the beginning of 2017 after a ten year break from playing. I am really enjoying playing with this band it is so friendly, high points so far the concert in Egloshayle Church Wadebridge and Music in the Courtyard.
